Isabelle Farber New York City Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)

Mental Health

I have extensive experience in practicing talk therapy with women and youth ages 15 to 21 and their families. I also am bilingual in French and English and can see clients in either language. My expertise lays in the following:

  • Trauma work around histories of sexual and physical abuse, domestic violence, and environmental violence.
  • Family issues stemming from family dynamics, family secrets, adoption, living with a child or spouse suffering from ADHD, and loss.
  • Women’s issues stemming from conflicting life roles, self-perception and esteem, motherhood, marital and interpersonal relationships, loss, and life transitions.
  • Adolescent issues stemming from family dynamics and history, school history and concerns, peer relations, developmental stage, and sexuality.

I am well versed in working with diagnoses of PTSD, mood disorders, adjustment disorders of mixed features, and personality disorders.

Clinical Supervision

I offer supervision to LCSWs seeking professional feedback and support in their own practice or in addition to supervision they receive at their place of employment. I also supervise LMSWs seeking their “C.” I have provided both services for over 15 years and am a strong believer in continued professional reflection, growth and support.
